Dotti Paints is a company specialised in painting, whitewashing and professional decoration, based in the Como province and active in Lombardy, northern Italy and even neighbouring Switzerland (Ticino Canton). Established back in 1965, over time the company has grown and now operates with a team of 11 technical professionals, including surveyors and operators, as well as reliable independent artisans (scaffolders, blacksmiths, construction firms, etc.) for turnkey renovation, restoration and maintenance projects for residential, industrial, civil and commercial buildings.

We aim to enhance and bring out the splendour of all interior and exterior surfaces, whatever the building. In aesthetic terms this means embracing the tastes and requests of customers in order to achieve beautiful results and refined finishes, while also ensuringenergy efficiency, salubrity and environmental sustainability.

This is why we choose ecological paints and non-harmful photocatalytic products: top quality materials in addition to meticulous attention to details, precise execution and cleaning upon the completion of works. We take on each project as though it were our own home, with care and professionalism.

Tadelakt finishes and building bonuses

Over half a century of experience means that we have honed innovative techniques and developed a series of services that provide our customers with a distinct advantage. For example, we are one of very few companies in Italy to provide Tadelakt decorations, a special waterproof finishing of ancient tradition used to decorate hammams in Morocco, for exquisitely refined settings and coatings, using artisan lime from the Marrakesh area.

We also support the customer along the entire bureaucratic process for accessing tax incentives, for the renovation and retrofitting of buildings, whenever requirements are met, and for accessing the 50%, 65% and 110% building bonuses.

The company's history and evolution

1965
After years of experience in the sector, Ettore Dotti decided to establish his very own one-man business, operating mainly in the Como area. Thanks to his initiative and the quality of executed works, the company soon became renowned for its offering of whitewashing, painting and decoration services for interiors and exteriors.
1991
The founder's son, Paolo Dotti, joined his father's one-man business, which became Dotti Ettore Snc. The offering expanded to include new sectors, such as the restoration and maintenance of residential and industrial buildings, thermal cladding and plasterboard works, also in partnership with specialised professionals.
The 90s
The company moved all its dislocated facilities to a single site in Tavernola, near Como, in order to leverage all the benefits of a single reference point as opposed to various warehouses and garages used for the storage of materials.
2010
The company renovated its headquarters and office spaces, with the addition of a showroom, exhibition space for customers, showcasing the company's offering of decorations and finishes that further enhance the final effect of classic colour and paint samples.
Today
Dotti Paints is a consolidated artisan company that operates in northern Italy and neighbouring Switzerland with its offering of painting, decoration, cladding, renovation and restoration works, guaranteeing professionalism and competence. The company has obtained UNI construction painter certification and certification for thermal cladding installation. It is also a member of Federlegno and Anvides.
